The Tri-State Radio Fest returns Sunday, April 23.

Sponsored by the Pittsburgh Antique Radio Society (PARS) and the Buckeye Antique Radio and Phonograph Club of Akron, this daylong vintage radio show will be held at the Center Stage Banquet Hall, Center Square Shopping Center, 1495 Old Brodhead Road, Monaca PA 15061.

Now in its 13th year the show is expected to draw radio enthusiasts, vendors, buyers and visitors from Pennsylvania, Ohio and other neighboring states.

Featured in our flea market and auction will be early audio equipment, vintage radios, vacuum tubes, testing equipment and related mechanical and electrical gear. The flea market has only 19 tables remaining! See www.pittantiqueradios.org for table reservation form. YOU MUST HAVE A RESERVATION TO GET A TABLE AT THE FLEA MARKET.

Our auction features roughly 200 lots. 100 lots are already pre-registered. The auction starts promptly at noon. Bring your auction items early if you want them to be included.

Visitors will have an opportunity to vote for their favorites among Art Deco Styled radios entered in this year's contest. A gorgeous, restored art-deco radio will be raffled! (see pic)

The Tri-State Radio Fest is a family-friendly event. Moms, dads and kids are invited to come by, view beautiful pieces from the past and learn about this region's broadcasting history.

Doors open at 8:30 a.m. for the flea market where fine radios and early broadcasting items will be for sale. Giveaways and door prizes (including restored vintage radios) will be awarded throughout the morning. A radio-related auction will follow at noon.

Admission is $5. Children 12 and under are free. Food is available on site.

The sponsoring clubs are dedicated to the preservation and exhibition of historic communications equipment, early electronic entertainment media and related materials with emphasis on this region. Members are encouraged to acquire, restore and replicate historic items and collect publications and materials related to communications and broadcasting.
